New Game, many things need to be done
I'm writing here to get the admins attention, many things have to be added for the new game, some of which require admin intervention.
Is any of you still active?
Is there any of the active editors that would want to adopt the wiki?

Timeline of in-game events
There needs to be an in-game timeline of events, if there hasn't been already. Now there isn't an official span of years that I know of. Please feel free to correct me on that, or anything that needs correcting in this timeline.
- The practice of summoning demons to enslave them is carried out by wizards.
- The Forgotten is accidentally summoned in Field P1 a.k.a. Field V2 during a botched ritual.
- No way is found to actually defeat her, so the wizards seal her away with the fabled Gem of Eternity.
- A wizard -- let's call him Chapter 0 Wizard -- is driven by curiosity, greed and possibly stupidity, leading to the events of Chapter 0. He seeks to covet the Gem of Eternity for himself. However, removing the Gem of Eternity unseals the Forgotten, who th…

Gemcraft Chapter 0 Section 3 Path
Hey guys, I realised that after a few months of inactivity, my progress on Chapter 0 got reset. For levels 35-47, please tell me which levels are unlocked after which. Eg. level 34 unlocks 35 and 36.
Display it like this: 34 -> 35, 36
And anyway, don't tell me about levels 40 and 44. They're pretty obvious.

Hey there fellow gemcrafters, I just joined the community, sort of on a whim, and am rather enjoying being part of a community centered around knowledge.
Gemcraft Chasing Shadows
So Gemcraft 2 came out yesterday, so that means all data that is collected will be new and raw. So more work for the wiki! :)
IMO, I think Gemcraft 2 is a great game, I don't think i'm even close to finishing at all. I love the new talismans and also the way achievements work now. (I managed to get the 1 hp Monster Tomb achievement somehow) and also the Map. I love when things come together, especially the way that all the other games paths cross over. The thing however, I don't really like is the Skills max level. I'm not sure whether after a certain point it will be smaller levels for maximum but the starting 30-40 Levels, you are just left with lots of Unused Skill points.
Anyway, that aside. The skills (I've unlocked Freeze and Bolt) see…

Gemcraft 1 Walkthrough Part 2
Hey Everyone again, The second part of the Gemcraft 1 Walkthrough is now up. There may be a few slip-ups but it's still a walkthrough guide you can follow. There isn't any major problems, the only things that happened during the recording were letting 2 monsters through and not having enough time to plant more towers. All the walkthrough guide is doing at the moment is showing you how to complete the levels and then how to get the Glowing Score (More levels will probably be in 1 video when that gets released).
Enjoy this video. I/We are still a long way to go till we complete the entire game. There are many hidden amulets and other things to collect on the way. I have a feeling that we are close to the first epic stage. With Gemcraft 1 and …
Gemcraft 1 Walkthough Part 1
Hey Everyone, I've decided to create some video's on Gemcraft 0, 1 and Gemcraft Labyrinth (and maybe GC2 when it comes out). I don't know how long this will take, but It will probably take a while.
From experience of the Gemcraft Series, I have completed Gemcraft Labyrinth and Gemcraft 0 till the end. However, with Gemcraft 1, I haven't even gotten close to completing so Hopefully I will actually finish it now. On the wikia, I have seen that most levels have been added but without strategy. I will try my hardest to complete and show you how to finish each level starting with GC1.
I have only 1 video at the moment and that is for GC1 level's 1-4 (Not level numbers but levels in sequence of difficulty (Bonus levels will be named Secret1 etc. a…
My thoughts of GC2- Part 7
Well, another new feature has been partially revealed about this game.
If you haven't played any of Gameinabottle's other games, most of them have spells you can use in battle. It surprised me that spells were introduced as late as the fourth game, but it doesn't matter. The previous games were still excellent.
As for the spells themselves, I think they have pretty helpful abilities (of the two we know). The Freeze spell sort of replaces the shocking ability, so that's a point in my books.
I particuraly like his double charge idea. Having only one charge has always bugged me for the reasons he said (even in Gameinabottle's other games), but Gameinabottle is changing that.
On another note, a new version of Gemcraft Labyrinth, v.1.20, has be…
Happy Anniversary (1 day Late)
I forgot about it yesterday, but yesterday (June 26) is the fourth anniversary of the release of the first Gemcraft game. Congratulations Gameinabottle, for making your games popular enough to last this long. I hope they last even longer.

There wasn't that much information this week, but there were still some things I thought were worth mentioning.
Firstly, the black and white gems have updated powers affecting all the gems now. I know there were some confused people on the wiki who didn't know what they affected, so this will make it easier.
I especially like the component ablities now having no limit. Ever since I saw the prismatic gem in GC0 with all of the abilities, I've been hoping for something like this.
The rest of the post were mostly nifty little shortcuts that I still thought were cool, but not as important. I'm hoping he'll add the rapid gem bombing feature to the one click gem deployment, …
My thoughts of GC2- Part 5
Sorry for the late post, I've been out of town for a couple of days and just saw the update.
Now I finally know what gem wasps are, and I think they will make me use gem bombing again.
I never used gem bombing for the same reason Gameinabottle pointed out, it doesn't do anything at a high level. With the gem wasps, now they can. It looks like in this game Gameinabottle is going to be fixing a lot of minor things (mana bar automatically increases, rapid gem bombing) while also adding new things (gem wasps, sparks).
I also like the new rapid gem bombing method. It makes things go a lot faster for you where unlike Labyrinth, it was a little annoyance that didn't ruin the game for me, but would've made it ten times better had it been fixed.
I wa…
My thoughts of GC2- Part 4
To see Gameinabottle's blog post related to this, click here.
Just when you thought that Gemcraft couldn't get any harder.
This update certainly proved that GC2 is more than just a bunch of levels just like the last game. The monsters appear to be tougher than ever. I can't wait to see the new ability combinations that are possible. I'm hoping that increased armor is one of the abilities since it wasn't one of the three main types.
The Sparks look like a very interesting new twist in the game. They help balance out the newly upgraded monsters, and can be upgraded even more with gem bombs.
Can't wait until next week, when we finally learn what the gem wasps are.
MY future on the wiki
Before you read this, don't worry, this post is not my resignation.
But I will probably won't be on the wiki as frequently now that the majority of Gemcraft Labyrinth is complete. I will still edit, maybe go back to GC0, but I'm going on a little break, after the long editing streak. I will still post my blog posts on the new GC2 features, and will help edit GC2 when it comes out.
This isn't the end, it's only the beginning for the restoration of the wiki.
New background for gemcraft buttons
Just as the title says. I think that it looks cool, but might be unusable because of the spacing. if it is to wide or not wide enough, i will adjust it accordingly
My thoughts of GC2- Part 3
Another couple of weeks, and a LOT of information on the upcoming GC2.
I'll start with the biggest piece of news: gem types.
I was a little sad to see the Shocking power go. I was hoping that it could combine with the slowing so when the slowing reaches 100%, it turns into shock. Sadly however, the gem type is gone, but his reasons were good. I did enjoy the two new powers that were introduced: healing surpression and poolbound. They both go quite well with the new features that this game offers. The black gem has a new unique twist on bloodbound, increasing the 3 gems adjacent in the gem selection as well. I noticed that both the black and white gems increase the abilities of adjacent gems, which I think is an awesome additional power.
The s…

Updates are out. The countdown for the game has begun!
This first post really showed more than he talked about, but I'll talk about what he talked about first. First off, the maps look really interesting. The types of flora is a nice contrast to the darkness of the Labyrinth. It doesn't really change gameplay, but it does help the looks.
The double density walls are a really nice feature. 'Now you can put towers only partially adjacent. It increases the possibilites greatly.
On other things, these screenshots showed us the first glimpse of the black gem and the black and white gem power ups. Sadly, this will have to remain a mystery for another two weeks. I al…
A note about Discussion Pages
As some of you may have seen, there is a new page for discussion for Gemcraft Labyrinth. This page was meant to stop the clogging up of comments on the actual Gemcraft Labyrinth page. While I expect and hope this page to be a very big page with lots of people's screenshots, I would like to see some organization so that it's not just a jumple of awesome screenshots.
So this is how I'm going to try it. If you have an idea that you think is better, please tell me.
Under each section header, put a smaller section header with your username, THEN put all of your pictures under that. For example, I want to put a picture of my high score on a Challenge Amulet. I would make a section under Challenge Amulet titled LevenThumps, then post my pictur…

Labyrinth Levels FINISHED!
It's finally done! All the levels for Gemcraft Labyrinth have a page for them with quality information on it. Thanks to all who helped make this possible.
Now, this isn't the end of editing for these pages. I'm still looking for someone to be an administrator and oversee a new strategy section (see previous blog post for more details.) I'd also like to put in a video guide later on. But for now, I am done with these pages and will move on to other things, specifically Labyrinth skills.
Thanks again, and keep up the editing.
Strategy Section Needed
I've been thinking about it for a long time, but I finally decided (with the help of a wikia contributor) that a strategy section is needed to help players get past difficult levels. I'm asking someone else to take up the project for the most part, since I am busy with the creating levels and skills pages.
Also, I am not that good at explaining my strategy that well. I write stats easier (as you can tell), but I'll try to do what I can. Strategy sections can go on level pages, amulet pages, and possibly skill pages of each game.
If you want to take on the role of the strategy section, leave a comment on my blog or message wall. Also, whoever leads the project will be made an administrator (I need someone else on this wiki).--LevenThumps 17:1…
My thoughts of GC2- Part 1
This is the first in a series of blog posts saying what I think about the upcoming Gemcraft Chapter 2: Chasing Shadows. I plan on doing a follow up blogpost for every blogpost of updates Gameinabottle releases on their website. This blogpost is for the post back in December. To see their blogpost click here .
This update was mostly an overview to tide us over for a while, but it did reveal a lot of stuff. The first promo picture looked exciting, and I was interested to realize that we still fight with a magic orb, even though we're not in the Labyrinth any longer.
The Gems seem to be having a major switch. I was sad to see the Lime gem go, but since he said it's due to color issue, I think another gem will still get the chain hit power. The …
April Poll of the Month Preparations
For people who participate in the monthly Poll of the Month, there is going to be a big poll for April where you get to submit choices. The poll question is: What is your favorite level in Gemcraft Labyrinth. Up until April 1, you can submit choices for the favorite level through commenting on my blog, e-mailing me at adam.janecka@eccwireless.net, or leaving a message on my message wall. If you found a field that just stuck out to to you, submit it, and it might become the favorite level of Gemcraft Labyrinth. You can submit more than one level, but about the top ten will be chosen for voting. Submit now to see your level win!
Labyrinth Amulets complete
All the pages on Gemcraft Labyrinth amulets have been completed. It took a while, and pratically doubled the amount of pictures we previously had, but now anyone can see how much experience each amulet gives and what each amulet looks like. Now that this is finished, I'm going to start working on levels again.--LevenThumps 23:52, March 16, 2012 (UTC)
Navigation Template
I'm thinking of making a navigation template for each game in the series, so that people can find pages better. Right now, I'm focusing on Gemcraft Labyrinth. In the template, the categories will include the gem type of the game, since they'll change, the amulets, skills, and structures (There are too many levels to put into a navigation box.) What do you think. Do you have any ideas to add? Please comment on your ideas to make this navigation box and the boxes for Chapter 0, 1, and the forthcoming 2 so this wiki can be even better.
Sorry for the Break
Sorry for the long break. I've been doing other stuff. Just wanted to say I'm back and will start updating Labyrinth Level pages again. Hope we finish soon!--LevenThumps 00:48, March 7, 2012 (UTC)
How Far We've Come
We've certainly come a long way since I first joined the wiki. We just achieved some major goals, such as 200 pages and the third crafting pylon. I can't wait until we finish all the levels. The next section of levels is where pages are already made and need to be filled in. Should be fun
Gemcraft Wiki Expansion
This wiki is growing. But I'd like to speed up the process. I'd like to ask everyone in Gemcraft Wiki to tell their friends, family, use Facebook, and any other means to try and spread Gemcraft Wiki. I'd like this wiki to double, if not triple this year. Thanks for the help you've done, and hope we increase in the future.
Gemcraft Labyrinth Reconstruction
This wiki is going to be going under some heavy editing the next couple of months. We're going to try to finish up most of Gemcraft Labyrinth before Gemcraft Chapter 2 comes out. Anyone who wants to help is welcome. Let's keep up the good work on this wiki.
Let's Get Started
I'm posting to this wiki to gauge the interest level individuals have in expanding the information here, and also to see whether or not there are any active gemcraft players who are willing to help in building the information presented within. It seems that the Gemcraft Wiki is in its infancy, and I would love to begin growing a community surrounding Gemcraft (and other desktop defense/flash games) If anyone would like to contribute, or if the creator of this wiki would like to get in touch with me and discuss the roadmap/organizational format of the wiki please email me at: HellanicusofMytilene@gmail.com
