Strategy Edit

Start out by combining the gems to make a pure purple G7, a red/orange G7, and a red/orange G6. Put the purple G7 in the first tower, set its target priority to "Highest Armor/Shielded". Put the red/orange G7 in the last tower, set its target priority to "Least Hit Points". Put the remaining gem in the remaining tower.

Use all G1 in the inventory to enrage coming normal waves with one gem each to gain more mana for the more difficult later waves. Use the G3 Red and Orange gems to strengthen your Orb (monsters will break through).

Start the battle.

As the battle progresses, combine and upgrade the remaining gems in the inventory as normal in order to upgrade the gems on the field. You should soon be able to upgrade your G6 red/orange to a G7, and eventually also have a G6 purple in the inventory.

As soon as wave 11 starts (the first of 2 consecutive giants waves) call wave 13 (the swarmlings after the two giant waves.

Build a fourth tower to the right of the last tower, with half of it on the path, so you can build 3 amplifiers next to it. Build 3 amplifiers next to it, put the G7 red/orange gem into the tower, and 3 G3 red/orange gems into the amplifiers.

By now you should have a G6 purple gem in the inventory as well. Place it into the now vacant tower and set its target priority to "Swarmlings".

Now, focus on upgrading the amplified gem to G8. Then wait until you have enough mana to upgrade the other G7 red/orange to G8, then as soon as you have even just a slight opening, combine the two red/orange G8 to a G9.

You should now have on the field:

  • One G9 red/orange, amplified by 3 G3 red/orange, target priority "least hit points"
  • One G7 purple, target priority "highest armor/shielded"
  • One G6 purple, target priority "swarmlings"

Finally, spend some mana to build walls to create a zig-zagging path that will increase the time it takes the monsters to complete a circuit.

Apart from that, don't spend any more mana, and allow your setup to gradually wear the monsters down.
