Story[]
The story follows a young wizard who is trying to find the Gem of Eternity, a gem with mysterious power. He's looked for it in books, but the wizard council tried to stop him. One day, his compass points north, towards the Gem of Eternity. He travels north, fights the arcane guardians, and eventually finds the Gem of Eternity. He unlocks it, but by doing so, unleashes the Forgotten. The Forgotten takes over him, and he becomes the corrupt wizard who is the main antagonist at the start of GemCraft Chapter 1: The Forgotten, who summons monsters to wreck havoc.
