It was released on April 16, 2009. It is very similar to the first game, although there are some minor changes, and a few major changes to the game. ==Changes from GemCraft Chapter 1== GemCraft Chapter 0 has 78 levels, 28 skills and 10 modes. It introduces traps, beacons and shrines. GemCraft Chapter 0 has a banishment system where a monster's banishment cost increases by 50% every lap. It also has a different experience system. A more detailed list can be found here. == Levels == See Levels (Gemcraft Chapter 0) ==Story== The story follows a young wizard who is trying to find the Gem of Eternity, a gem with mysterious power. He's looked for it in books, but the wizard council tried to stop him. One day, his compass points north, towards the Gem of Eternity. He travels north, fights the arcane guardians, and eventually finds the Gem of Eternity. He unlocks it, but by doing so, unleashes the Forgotten. The Forgotten takes over him, and he becomes the corrupt wizard who is the main antagonist at the start of Chapter 1: The Forgotten, who summons monsters to wreck havoc. <gallery orientation="none" widths="200" captionalign="center" position="center" spacing="small"> GC0_SP1.png|Story #1 GC0_SP2.png|Story #2 GC0_SP3.png|Story #3 GC0_SP4.png|Story #4 GC0_SP5.png|Story #5 GC0_SP6.png|Story #6 </gallery> ===After the final battle=== <gallery widths="200" position="center" spacing="small"> GC0 ending 1.png GC0 ending 2.png GC0 ending 3.png GC0 ending 4.png GC0 ending 5.png GC0 ending 6.png GC0 ending 7.png </gallery> ==See Also== *List of Amulets in Gemcraft Chapter 0 (Gem of Eternity) *List of Skills in Gemcraft Chapter 0 (Gem of Eternity) Games
