Gemcraft Chapter 1 (The Forgotten) was the first game created in the Gemcraft series by Game in a Bottle . It was released on June 11th, 2008.
Story
The story focuses around a young wizard who is sent to fight an evil wizard in the east. The wizard finds out that there is another wizard in the east who has unleashed monsters for some unknown reason. The wizard battled his way across the land, clearing towers of monsters. When he got to the end, he found that something called "The Forgotten" has possessed this other wizard, but it decides that he's a better host, so it kills the other wizard and possesses him. He's then told that it is going to take him to the east, to unleash more havoc into the Spiritforge.
Game controls
On the main map there are also 7 menu buttons on the top. These include Stats, Amulets, Skills, Save game, Main Menu, More Games, and Options. There is a quick status bar at the bottom of the screen which displays your total points, level and unused skill points.
Gameplay
Gemcraft Chapter 1 (The Forgotten) has a total of 8 gem types, 12 skills, and 48 levels.
