Careful about deleting things. The "Crack" page was actually the main Skills page, but the vandal renamed it, so it'll need to be undeleted and restored to its original location. They may have renamed other things as well, I've generally been ignoring them.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I saw a couple of renames like "Hi and welcome to Chili's, and only the redirect is being deleted. He is blocked, and I'm deleting a lot of the files he uploaded, although I didn't see the Crack redirect, so let me know if there are any more I might've missed.
There should be a page here, which was the Crack page that got deleted. The vandal may have tagged that for deletion themselves, I'm not sure. But yeah, Crack needs to be undeleted, then moved back to the page I linked.
I checked everything else, and it seems fine. I tagged one pointless redirect from the vandalism and did a full revert on another page that missed undoing one of the vandalism edits, but that one wasn't even you.
I see the page you're talking about now, and unfortunately I don't know if I can bring that one back. Deleted pages can usually be recovered after a certain period of time, and this one was deleted before I saw your message. I'll see if I can find another way to recover it.
That's got the redirect out of the way, but it hasn't restored the content. Fandom hides a lot of the more advanced functionality of a wiki, but Special:Undelete should do what we want, I think. Assuming it works, you should just be able to provide a reason and click Restore to get back the content. After that, I can move it to the skills page.
Oh hell, sorry. It looks like one of the pages created somewhere along the way was "GemCraft Chapter 2: Chasing Shadows Skills" and that's the one I was looking at, so it was still appearing blank. The correct page is indeed there, as you said. Sorry about the confusion!
I just reverted the skill page of GC2:CS like a day ago and some others page renamed when wandering around this wiki. Didn't remember the name of the person who ruined these pages (maybe Thomas or someone has the name like that). Glad that everything was done and no more vandals.
Unfortunately, while I still play the Gemcraft games, my schedule has not given me as much time for wiki editing. I see you don't have many edits yourself, but are you interested in becoming an admin? I would like someone a little more active than myself to have access.
I don't have time as well, that's why I used the subreddit to get the message out instead of making a bunch of edits and starting an adoption request myself.
I also know nothing about running a wiki.
If you have a way to contact potentially interested notable editors they may be better candidates, otherwise I can get it and then hope to organize the actual work via reddit/discord and just do the things normal editors can't do.
I don't know anyone who would be interested, but if anyone would like admin rights, they can always message me on the wiki. I might edit a few things as I'm currently playing Frostborn Wrath, but will gladly look into someone else taking over the role if they want.
I am the new head of the Flash Gaming Wiki, which I now run after XtinaS dropped the project; and I have seen that all the way back in 2012, you contacted Xtina in regards to a partnership between these two wikis, starting with links to both wikis on their main pages.
I know you're quite inactive on FANDOM; but I would still like to ask, are you still interested in the partnering of the two wikis, and the mention of the sister wikis on the respective main pages? I'm more than willing to get it done; this'd be a great opportunity to get both wikis to grow.
While other activities have led me to be inactive on the wiki, I do still enjoy them and would like to see both wikis grow, so I'm glad you've reopened this idea. Would you like me to just put a link or something similar to the sitcom wiki collaboration template I made for Lucille Ball Wiki at the bottom?
Here is the current version of the template. I'm unable to align your wordmark to the center of mine while keeping the transparent background due to not having the software anymore. If you're able to edit it, I think it would look a little better if centered. Or if you have another image you'd like to use, I'd be fine with that. I picked the wordmark because that's what I used on the previous template I worked on.
Hi Leventhumps! Can you keep an eye on Mysterious Compass (GC2). There's an IP editor there the last couple of days who's basically reverting anything I do and just doing his own thing, with no apparent willingness to engage in talk page discussion or even edit summaries. (Or perhaps they just don't know how?) Some of the changes have been good, in the end, but it seems we only get that after a few mini revert wars. The most recent undo of my edits reintroduces what I think are redundant rows, but I'm not willing to fight over it. It's certainly not killing the page or anything to have the extra info there. I'm gonna try to keep my hands off of it for the time being, but another set of eyes would really be appreciated. Thanks! – Robin Hood(talk) 15:35, June 11, 2014 (UTC)
I've made some other edits here and there around the Wiki so far, mostly minor things, and also started a page for Tombs (all for Gemcraft Labyrinth), but I am totally new to contributing to a Wiki of any sort, and not sure of the basic guidelines and such that the community here follows...a protocol for lack of a better term. Just want to make sure I am not running around adding/changing stuff that shouldn't be, etc.
Also I am no where near the level that I am sure some of you other players around here are, and my knowledge about the game is limited, so my help will of course also be limited, but I love to organize/design, so this kind of thing is perfect for me and I am having quite a bit of fun doing it so far, so hopefully I can do something around here. So yeah, thanks for your time.
