Monster Beacons are a game feature that were first introduced in Gemcraft Chapter 0 (Gem of Eternity). It provides a variety of powers that aid monsters, such as speed boosts and healing.

They can be destroyed by gem bombs or gems in towers, depending on what game in the GemCraft Series is played.

Gemcraft Chapter 0

The original monster beacons can only be destroyed by grade 3+ gem bombs.

Types

  • Shield: Gives all nearby monsters temporary invulnerability.
  • Healer: Heals all nearby monsters.
  • Tower Defier: Prevents towers from being built in an area around it.
  • Trap Defier: Prevents traps from being built in an area around it.
