Trap
Traps are a feature introduced in Gemcraft Chapter 0 (Gem of Eternity). They can only be built on the path. When you place a gem in a trap, it does 80% less damage and gets a really short range, which only covers the square the trap is on, but its special (Critical hit, mana leech, etc.) gets 80% higher.

StrategiesEdit

  • Put a Blue Gem in a trap, and fill some traps after it with Orange Gems to get a maximum mana leech! *Even better, use Orange/Lime/Cyan! (Orange/Red in Chapter 2)
  • Make manafarm with traps. Just build Manatraps with Amplifiers adjacent to traps. You should use Orange/Red/Black or Orange/Black if you are not Premium.
